With the goal of “promoting the development of environmental science and building scientific and ecological civilization”, REDSUN established a scientific and technological innovation R&D system that integrates production, learning, research and market through the introduction of leading modern high-tech and high-end professional and technical talents. We will ensure REDSUN’s leading scientific research advantages in the field of environmental protection and promote the “high-speed rail” technology R&D model of the entire industry chain to work together in the same direction to achieve rapid and coordinated development.

REDSUN has academicians and expert workstations led by Academician Wang Hao of the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, and collaboration with professors, doctors, masters, and senior engineers in the field of environmental engineering, water pollution control, and water recycling. Dr. Lu Yuantang, as the Standing Committee of the Environmental Planning Committee of the Chinese Environmental Science Association, the Environmental Planning Institute of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Finance, and the experts from the PPP expert database of the National Development and Reform Commission, also joined the core team of REDSUN. In addition, under the promotion of REDSUN, it has initiated and set up a coalition of smart environmental industries to build a platform for scientific and technological cooperation among enterprises, created a favorable environment for scientific and technological innovation, formulated incentive mechanisms for scientific and technological achievements. In recent years, REDSUN has obtained nearly 60 technology patents in the four major environmental protection areas involved in the smart water industry. A number of technological R&D projects have made breakthrough progress and won the title of “High-tech Enterprise in Tianjin” and “National High-tech Enterprise”, and became the "Enterprise Technology Center" in Tianjin and was awarded the "New Technology Incubation Center" and "Heavy Oil Research Center." Our "SCWO Supercritical Water Oxidation Technology Project" and "MTO Device Water System Anti-blockage Pharmaceutical Research and Development Project" were respectively awarded the second and third prizes of the 2017 Tianjin Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and both participated in the national total finals on behalf of Tianjin City to. In the national finals of the 6th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for New Energy and Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection, Tianjin Dexincheng Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. won the title of “Outstanding Enterprise” in the competition.
